Why aren't the players tracking all this themselves?

D&D 4E 4e Character Log: Need Feedback

Update: So I haven't gotten to use this yet. Unfortunately, due to the family needing my help we had to cancel the game day. 
I'm really excited to put it to use and I'll certainly give you feedback on how it works out.
Every situation is different.
I dunno, most of the players are either new to RPG's or new to D&D4e. That combined with the sporadic nature of our being able to play leads them to forgetting stuff.
Being that most of them are using the printable power cards, at the end of the game they just stack the cards together and throw them in a box. Next session (a month or more later sometimes), will they remember if they used that daily or not? I just wanted an easy form to fill out/check off durring play in order to keep tabs on the players. It's not like I'm keeping track of the information for them.
Maybe I shouldn't be so strict and if we forget we forget, but having a sheet like this is just something I'd like to have as a place for keeping notes on the players all in an easily readable place.
