First Post
Hey hey, I'm looking for some feedback on this landscape character sheet I put together. What would you change/move/do to this to make it perfect for you?

Here's a small screenshot...

And here is the PDF...

Looks good! I think I may use that for my first 4e character.

Edit: I just realized that there's no skills block on that page...

From the previous thread, I agree with Strominator, get rid of (or move them to the back of the sheet) all of the calculation boxes. I might be wrong but I don't think there are many things that adjust your stats by removing armor, enhancement bonuses, etc.

This frees up some space for skills, which IMHO are super important.

I personally don't care if action points are listed on the sheet, I use tokens for them.

I would switch Abilities with Senses/Character Info, but that is just me. Personally I'm so used to having character info at the top of the sheet, it weirds me out that its down at the bottom. Although that might be cool too :)

Are there enough entries for Powers for a high level character?

I'd also like to see more room for feats, cuz I like to put the description in.

Overall its a pretty cool sheet, nice work :)

You probably meant to post this in 4e Fan Creations and House Rules.

As far as the sheet itself is concerned: You'll likely want to make room for more powers or characters will run out of space quick. An extreme example: a cleric with a multiclass feat, a racial power and a channel divinity feat will have 10 encounter powers.

cheers

Yep, I was in a rush and left them out intentionally for now in order to post this when I did to get feedback -- I'll get them into the next version.

Yea, I figured when I was done that this would be one of the first sections that could really go pretty easily. Will do.

Interesting, will do.

Yes, as far as progression goes on page 29 (19?) of the phb. Of course that doesn't account for getting extras through other abilities, but if you want to start playing that game I think this grows into a power sheet only.

I'd also like to see more room for feats, cuz I like to put the description in.

Cool

Thanks ;)

Na, I meant to post it here -- it just happens to be the wrong place for it I guess, hehe ;)

Yea, it could get a bit crazy at that point I think - as mentioned above, this covers the max progression at 30 from the table in the phb. In order to accomidate those kinds of maximums, this might just end up a power sheet.

Thanks all, I will look into updating this in the next few hours!

My only createq with this sheet is your choice of Episode I as a font. I really like its lettering shapes, but I dislike the spaces between some of the letters. Its a natural side effect when you use a free font over a high end pro font. so it might be a non issue.

Look at the word FEATS. Notice the irregular spacing between the a and the t?

professional fonts tend to have cleaner spacing.

This may be a little anal of me, but it is something to consider when choosing fonts in the future. I realize no one wants to spend hours picking the right font and making sure it has clean spacing if its not already their job.

It probably is, haha, but there's nothing wrong with that at all - it's great feedback ;) I actually wanted to use a different font, but I did this at work and I didn't have it there - I'll email it to myself and make the change at some point, but it looks like otherwise it's in great shape!

Thanks!
