[QUOTE="Lord Sessadore, post: 4861282, member: 57255"] Cool :) When I get back home tomorrow I'll develop the cathedral a bit when I do up his background. An idea: even if there isn't the kind of market in Ch'thuul that would support epic characters, perhaps Kylek has contacts that can import what we need to Ch'thuul. It would probably make sense for Kylek to have such contacts to get resources appropraite to his power. (I haven't read Kylek's backstory yet, so maybe something like that's in there.) This is just awesome. Igor is going to make my day every time he's in the thread :D (I love Pratchett ;)) Edit: Oh, I was going to talk a bit about backstories. I'd like for Sarenax to know Orelal, and possibly Kylek, if Orelal and Kylek are old friends, especially since Sarenax will be involved in Orelal's tower fortifications. I`m envisioning Sarenax as a very, very loyal servant of the Raven Queen so that`s pretty much an excuse for as much Deus Ex Machina as we want to use. However, Deus Ex Machina aside, I think it'd be cool for most of the group to have been adventuring companions in the past (perhaps the end of their paragon careers?), and seemed to have gone their separate ways since then. Would make the reunion interesting, and more plausible that we're working together than six random, super-powerful strangers trying to work together ;) Back to Orelal and Sarenax, I think I'd like to run with the idea that Sarenax's domain is near Orelal's, and the secondary reason RQ has put him there is to keep an eye on Orelal to keep him in line with his advances. We could play up an awkward love-triangle too - Sarenax's undying loyalty to RQ is more than just faith in his deity, but he doesn't proclaim his love (or even realize it's there?), unlike Orelal. That could be ... interesting, considering the power levels and influence of the three, haha. (Sorry, that was all over the place. I'll try to organize my thoughts a little more when I get home.)
