D&D Game Starting sometime (Thursday?, Time is open for discussion but Thursday is preferred.)
1. We are using D&D 4th edition for the game system.
2. The setting of the game will be a homebrew setting created by the GM and the actions of the players. However, this game will also have a Co-GM(I am the Co-GM) that will occasionally switch roles with the GM. The story is loosely based on a guild setting. The goals and alignments of the players will determined what the guild does and represents. It will also determine the guild’s outlook.
3. We are looking for two additional players right now. There will be some meeting on Thursday to discuss character creation and development as well as have some actual gameplay.
4. The game software we are using is Maptools1.3b87 (latest) along with DN Framework. We will be using Skype for voice, so please have a microphone.
5. The current level for starting characters is Level 16.
6. The starting amount of gold is 64,000Gp. You get an adventure kit for free. You get one free magic item below your level, one free magic item at your level, and one free magic item above your level. (15, 16, 17).
7. All classes are allowed for this D&D game.
8. All races are allowed expect for fairies.
9. You will need to generate your ability scores using the standard 4d6 dice rules but you will need to send proof by invisible castle or by using map tools(e-mail me or message me and I will set up a server for you to roll your ability scores).
10. Yes, the game uses alignments but we do not yet have that restricted.
11. We allow people to use hybrid classes.
12. There will be rolls left to the DM for standard NPC actions and other environment things. Otherwise the players can expect to make their own rolls using maptools.
13. Brief history/important events As well as a list of close friends/family as well as any enemies you might have and why.
14. Our game will try to emphasis on creating a 50% battle and 50% role-play.
15. The players are allowed to use any book and article but they must tell us what they are using.
If you have any additional questions please private message me here or post on the forum thread.
