D&D 4E 4e default campaign setting

Has anyone found out yet if they are gobbing all the mainstay campaign worlds into one setting, as I ready a long while back looked like the case, or are they keeping them as separate worlds? For instance, I heard that originally they were going to have Greyhawk and Forgotten Realms be actually the same world but different regions of the same world. However, in some podcasts and since I have seen they are doing campaign settings books for these, it seems they might keep them as separate worlds.

Any idea?

I've never seen anything that would indicate that the designers were combining classic D&D settings into one world. We've always known that FR and Eberron were going to be continued as separate, published settings in 4e. The only recent surprise is that other classic settings will also be coming back in published 4e form.

*Nods* So far the other possibilities (based on that surprise/what the campaign forums are) are: Dark Sun, Greyhawk, Dragonlance, Ravenloft, Planescape, Spelljammer, and the already planned FR and Eberron.

Well, there's the PoL world, which seems to be able to absorb any of the really good elements of the other campaign settings. So, while the Temple of Elemental Evil exists in Greyhawk, it also exists in PoL.
