4e Dragon and Dungeon PDFs?

Has WotC said anything about what they will do with Dragon and Dungeon?

As far as I know Dragon and Dungeon are currently pdfs only and they are still available for those with subscriptions and there are no announced plans to yank them.

I expect they will keep those going until they have a digital alternative they consider worth doing so I expect that is an area to keep watch for what direction WotC is (eventually) heading.

I suppose they feel the pdf's for Dungeon and Dragon are safer for now since they're part of a subscription service.

Although they're getting uploaded to file sharing sites just as frequently as the books.

I just checked the site named in their lawsuit and the magazines have been requested to be removed by WotC.

I don't know if they were posted by someone named in the suit or not, but they have, at least, been removed.

I didn't mean yanked from pirate sites, I meant yanked from sale by WotC the way the D&D book pdfs were yanked. :)

I expect any type of anti-piracy system WotC decides to use will be beta-tested on Dragon and Dungeon.

I think WotC wouldn't care as much since those who use DDi were going to use it for the compendium, game table, visualizer, char-gen, mapper, etc and the two mags were bonuses. With all but the char-gen and compendium right now vaporware, the PDF mags are much more valuable.

I suspect the first change will be some form of watermarking, followed by restricted access (print, edit, copy restrictions) followed by whatever system of DRM (or similar) they eventually go with. If all goes well, welcome back to the PDF back-catalog.

I hope there's no download limitation: I download it at this PC, my wife's notebook and at work.
