Message: <blockquote data-quote="Kinie" data-source="post: 4358354" data-attributes="member: 70904">In 3e and 3.5, the Duskblade's spells were limited but did come from the arcane pool.  I was trying to find spells that would do damage and little else.  I looked through the Warlock spells but those were based upon pacts, while the Duskblade learned his spells through arduous training.  I was trying to remain faithful to the Duskblade history, in that they were able to use blades and spells at the same time because of the long hours they spent training and studying.That's why the Duskblade I posted has spells and powers that are mostly from the Wizard and Fighter; they best reflect what the Duskblade could do in 3.5 when you try to convert their powers into the 4e system.  I made this so people wouldn't have to be forced to multiclass as a Fighter to get Wizard spells and be forced to waste feats and put stats into something that wouldn't let them get the most out of their main class (ie., Fighter).Yeah, I tried to find a thread to see if someone did make a 4e Duskblade before, but I couldn't find it.  Hence why I posted mine.</blockquote>
