The Gamex convention in May is ramping up its 4e efforts and we currently have 12 GMs running Escape from Sembia and the Dungeon Delves. We just got chosen to host the West Coast D&D Championships Regional Qualifier and we just heard that local shops doing 4e demos are getting 40+ attendees. So there is huge interest and Gamex is going to have a huge D&D focus. If you are a SoCal GM and if you like 4e, we need you... 1) Run official 4e events via the RPGA. You can join RPGA for free and you can run Sembia, Delves and hopefully "The Secret Adventure" that is so secret that we have no clue what it may be or when we get it. 2) Run ENworld "4e Lite" events. I am running 3 sessions of my "The Other Keep on the Borderlands" and I would like to have players have lots of 4e-style stuff to do before / after they do the official Delves and Sembia. It would rock if we could run some of the 4e dungeons posted here on ENworld. We are getting swag from WotC as GM rewards for running 3 or more 4e events! The goal is every GM who does 3+ events gets a free badge and some kind of bonus goodie. Visit www.strategicon.net to sign up and submit your "4e Lite" events. If you want to join the RPGA crew to run the official events, go to http://www.warhorn.net/Gamex2008/ and contact the administrator. Tell them Spinachcat sent you.
