D&D 4E 4E is coming!

Heh, rememebr BATTLESYSTEM in 2E? EVERYTHING referenced it and almost no one actually bought it. I have a 2nd hand copy from a frind tho.

I thought that was 1E Battlesystem... lots of Dragonlance modules plus several Forgotten Realms modules used it.

Once 2E Battlesystem came along (which I thought wasn't that bad a system), they'd gone back to ignoring mass combat.

Quite a few Dark Sun items referred to Battlesystem. That's why I bought it.

I hope Battlefield has a non-mini way of resolving mass combat, something like The War Machine from the Companion rules. That might make it worth buying.
