D&D 4E 4E: What does this mean for Paizo?

Hmmm. Well, he has never struck me as one to gossip, so I am sure he heard it somewhere, I just wonder from whom.

Maybe he heard more from Clark of NEcromancer Games. Who's "source" from WOTC about 4E coming out and being announced at this GenCon was completely correct.

Clark isn't supposed to be at GenCon, so that possibility is very unlikely.

There actually is a thread called "OGL/d20 License" ready for this discussion on Gleemax when they surprise us with the news ;) So I'm pretty sure some sort of OGL will be supported.

And Friadoc, that's an excellent idea. I've asked before something like that but have gotten the obvious "D&D just makes sense". But if they go with their own core books I can get onboard with that. I play their adventures almost exclusively.

And for the record I'm not against 4th Ed at all. But I like Paizo stories so, if they diverge from 4th Ed I would seriously consider their path (no pun intended).

Yeah, Paizo has been very enjoyable for me. Heck, it's one of the few times that I've bought a gaming shirt (their goblin shirt).

In fact, if they made some Pathfinder specific baseball hars, or boonies hats, *hint, hint*, I'd be all over them.

Also, Paizo's take on fantasy, with respects to Pathfinder, have been just enough of an interesting twist to excite me.

Now, this is after I bought Ptolus and thought I couldn't be excited about another product again.

But, I was and am. *grins*
