Team Caves As kobolds fled in terror all around him, their shrill cries piercing his ears, Urgan took a moment to assess the dracolich while carefully retreating. It was no illusion, he was certain, but there was something strange about it: It was big enough to be terrifyingly imposing, but somehow still seemed... too small for Dretchroyaster's reputation of having terrorized the countryside for centuries. Urgan watched as Merrick tossed a javelin as the dragon squeezed its way out of the transporter. The javelin went into its ribs and would have damaged a lung, had there been any, but it hit bone and bits of rock crumbled off. This was when Urgan had a sense of revelation - the Dracolich wasn't made of bone at all, but instead it appeared to be made of the same, sharp-yet-crumbling black rock that formed the entire mountain. Still, it moved like a dragon, and it shook off his attempt to distract it with an illusion as if it resisted magic (though Urgan got the impression that it wasn't quite as smart as a true dragon would be). Poor Scamp rushed at it, yipping, and was crushed underfoot as it stomped toward Shamal. As an act of vengeance for the javelin, it turned its gaze on Merrick, and its glowing green eyes sparked, sending bursts of energy toward him. Then it turned back toward Shamal and opened its mouth wide, as Urbone the Magnificent ran in terror, leaving Shamal standing face-to-maw with the huge creature. [ooc]Merrick's javelin can only Push large or smaller targets, but did 16 to it. It did 12 Force (Magic Missiles) back to Merrick. It saved against Urgan's Phantasmal Force, and it did 14 slashing to poor Scamp. It still has some attacks, but I'll give @MetaVoid and @Snarf Zagyg a chance to go.[/ooc]
