Torhak has dismissed the mercenary. He can leave in the direction of the kobolds. "Better leave that sword here," Urgan suggests. "That will ensure you have safe passage". Honestly, he has no idea if that's true, but it seems likely. Urgan moves the flaming dagger away from Valendra's throat, and (if there is enough light to read), puts it away. With a quick glance at Valendra's notes, Urgan has a sense of what she has discovered, and perhaps to what use she intends to put it. He looks up, keeping them. "It would be burdensome to use the teleporters at this time. We don't know how they work, and she is no help. We should proceed, and we can't do it with her." He sighs. "We can't just let her go, and I don't want to kill her or break her hands. Both would work, though. I say we tie her up, gag her, and leave her with the kobolds. Unless she knows somethign about the statues." [ooc]Study action as a bonus on the notes she has taken -- is there anything he can learn from them? He is keeping them only as some slight leverage over Valendra, but the conversation has gone on too long already. He's not negotiating. I do think leaving her with the kobolds is the best solution, and we can offer them a reward if they keep her safe. He has mentioned the statues since he does not expect her to be released before they are finished, and he has not given more detail than the kobolds already know. His words are threatening, and if she offers something about the statues he might reconsider -- otherwise, he wants her tied up and left with the kobolds, which seems better than trying to bring her in as a hostage, for example. He'll listen if someone else has a suggestion, but I think we should act and move forward once we have answers from this.[/ooc]
