5 New Classes...

I've only read over the Apokryfistis, but it is very good. Very well written, but it seems a little overpowered to me. I think the dispel ability puts it over the top, but a very good class!

Oh, and one comment on your "tables" for BAB/Saves/Abilities. You can use a table in word documents, but maybe not in rich text documents.

Here's an example of what I mean. Although this was done simply in MS Word, and saved as a webpage. Keep up the good work!

Tables

I dislike MSWord, and formatting a table with tab stops isn't too big a problem for me. After all, I learned how to do tables on an IBM Selectric typewriter way back in the mid-80s.

RTF doesn't do tables, but it does have the advantage of being a pretty much universally readable file format.

As for the apokryfistis, I'm more likely to think his planar ally ability is overpowering. The dispel ability is usable only once per day, and is acquired "only" two levels earlier than a cleric would get the same spell in his daily choice.

Of course, opinions may vary.

I'll try to give it a look tonight if I have time. Been busy working and all that...

Later!

I'll post things I find here as I find them...

Apokryfistis

Adventures
says "...other menaces may or may concern them overmuch."
should say (?) "other menaces may or may not concern them overmuch."

Other Classes
says "understands that a druid makes a formidable friend."
Not sure about you, but "formidable friend" doesn't sound right to me. Valuable maybe?

Lesser Planar Ally
says: "it willingly works with the apokryfistis so long as the apokryfistis does not violate or change his alignment"
Bold - added word that should be there...

Overall, I think the planar ally does make the class a tad overpowered. I think it would be better balanced if the class was limited to Planar Ally and could not get Greater Planar Ally.

One last thing, I didn't see a spell list for this class. Is this mentioned, if so where?

Primalist
Religion
"a embodiment" should say "an embodiment"

Abilities
"To use a spell-like abilities, a primalist must have "

Primal Shape
"The primalist cannot selectively designate her new form's minor physical qualities, such as fur color."
No errors here, but why not?

Primalist Feat
Improved Grapple: No opposed roll? Mechanism for moving into a square? I'd cross check this with Improved Grab in the monster's manual.

Overall, the class is hard to judge. Any playtesting done with this one?

Shadowrunner

Intro: Switching between he/she in the paragraph.

I'll go over the rest later. I'll add another post when I continue the Shadowrunner.

Later!

really cool...

Now those are original and cool classes. I didn't read them in real detail but skimmed them all, and I would even like to use some in my own campaign if possible.

Way cool!

The Steel Disciple is extremely cool. I may make a prestige class based off of this idea (without the spellcasting). Great job Mark. :)

Danke...

Spell lists for all the classes are in the document after the class descriptions.

To keep the ability from becoming a means of disguise.

Improved grapple is the improved grab ability from the SRD.

Playtesting for all is minimal.

Those classes are pretty sweet man. I would use them probably, if the niche became available.

I, however, suck at game balance issues (in fact, I ussually drop stuff onto this board before doin' other stuff with it) so I'll leave that to other people.

These classes are very, very cool.
