Re: sneak attacking, a two-prong approach will probably nip that in the bud. First, you remember to cite the correct damage dice in your post. Second, I print off a copy of Guran's character sheet and reference it during combat (hopefully triggering me as your failsafe to remember the correct sneak attack dice). I regularly pull up everyone's character sheet during combat, so it's helpful to me if the sheets are kept up to date. Certainly, you guys can multiclass. And, certainly, you can avail yourself of the feats (or any of the variant rules in the PHB). In fact, as long as I have available to myself the relevant text so that I can adjudicate on the fly, I'm perfectly content letting anyone take pretty much any variant ability/spell/whatevah they want from any 5e sourcebook if it's pleasing to them to do so. Everyone here is a roleplayer par excellence, and I want everyone to be happy with their character. If you want to use a resource to build your character and I don't have said resource, let's talk via PM. I have yet to come across 5e material that I found to be innately broken (I'm sure it exists, I just haven't seen it yet, and that includes the Ranger variant from UA). Guran's conversations with Spec about divinity interest me, so feel free to have at that as much or as little as you like. I confess I was pretty surprised when I recently took a look at the RG and realized you'd taken the Acolyte background for Guran. Not sure how I missed that, but we've definitely been underplaying that aspect in the IC. Spec's request that a character credit Fharlaghn (that's probably misspelled, oh well, soldiering on) for guidance (or healing?!) ties in nicely to this and could be a wellspring of rp.
