Message: <blockquote data-quote="CanadienneBacon" data-source="post: 6735813" data-attributes="member: 11146">I've offered choices about direction to take inside Stonefast, but no one has actively nibbled.  That's fine; I recently began adjusting my DM plans to mold them to the direction the characters choose (as it should be).  Having already settled on my longterm game plan (see the discussion here in the OOC on previous recent pages), however, I have zero intention of letting this adventure linger unnecessarily.  If need be, I will short circuit and/or alter certain elements in favor of speeding along the action.  You'll recall that I've already mentioned a while back that 5th level is a possibility.  If I'm truthful, I would prefer for that not to occur, because it will mean that the game has gone longer than anticipated.  If, however, you do hit 5th level, then, most emphatically, NO, absent my owning a copy of SCAG, I will not be entertaining material from that source.  Not for this game at least.  I dislike having to adjudicate source material I don't own, and it doesn't currently look likely that WotC will produce a free .pdf containing any portion at all of SCAG.  If a free Player's Guide for OotA were to be published, I'd permit that.  Ditto for a free .pdf of (parts of) SCAG.I do not currently plan to purchase SCAG.  If that changes (and it might), I'll say so here.  One of the hazards of permitting stuff like SCAG is that players who don't make such a purchase may wind up differently abled when compared to players with the funds to buy supplements.  It's important to me that each player have the same set of resources on which to draw so that no one is made to feel less-than.--Wendy</blockquote>
