Thank you so much for the feedback! And thanks for the positivity as well. Actually the funny thing is that I showed this in other places where they liked mostly just the blood runes subclass, and I started thinking that maybe I should have made a blood mage class instead. It's nice to know that someone likes the soul runes since they are the "basic" archetype for the runeseeker. About runeseekers being the only one able to attune to runic weapons, it's already in the rules, actually only the specific runeseeker that made the weapon can attune to their specific runic weapon, unless the runeseeker is dead, in that case anyone can attune to it, which means you can kill a runeseeker to steal their weapon or you can find old runic weapons of ancient runeseekers. You wouldn't be able to cast the spells though, but you would get the benefits of the Enchanting Runes, also if it's an awakened runic weapon it's not going to be happy to be used by someone else. I find it possible that maybe sometimes you can find the awakened runic weapon of an ancient runeseeker that died centuries ago, that one might be more friendly towards a finder and would have had time to process the loss of their father/mother. I think I will also add a little rule to make the runic weapon destructible again when the runeseeker dies, for the next version. Thanks again! Let me know if there's anything that seems unbalanced or if you'll ever plan on playtesting the class.
