The Wizard might like a Ring of Protection (+1 to AC and saving throws). You might like a Cloak of Displacement (melee attacks against you are made at disadvantage). I believe those items are all rare in quality, and they are among the best magic items in the DMG. You could also trick out your ship with ballistae and other siege weapons, or buy another one... perhaps a whole fleet if they're readily available.</blockquote>
