Even producing less books was a bold experiment. Not everyone agrees with "produce less, sell more" - it's had to be proven. I can tell you as a retailer that we had NO IDEA if Ravnica would sell or not - it being a Magic setting could just as easily turn people off as get them to try it. I doubt anyone was sure that Wildemount would successfully interest the CR fans. So far, WotC's done the right things at the right time. A lot of that is luck, but then again, luck can be made or unmade.</blockquote>
