Okay the story as I've experienced it so far is: Caravans have been attacked all over the desert and all this comes with the appearance of a city that moves from plane to plane, so a connection is assumed. Our group was tasked by my father the Sheik of Tajar, city of trade. We were give the name of 3 prominent merchants in the city who have been directly accosted by the brigands. The first one we talked to ran an auction house and she was successfully negotiated into telling us information as well as giving us a manifest of what was stolen. Also we acquired some old dudes spell book that some nasty looking people wanted. They give us dirty looks as we leave but make no moves for direct confrontation. We head to the second merchant, the whole time being rather expertly stalked by one of the people we offended by acquiring the book. As we are negotiating with the pompous fool to learn what they took from him, Amina spots the stalker and excuses herself to retrieve him. We put the stalker into a vacant cage and through some crazy negotiation skills on my part discover his clans history, as the former Sheik's personal assassin's/bodyguards, the curse placed upon them that caused them to have hideous looking second mouths on the back of their neck, and their mission for redemption. The book we got from the auction house is said to contain the whereabouts of a large hidden treasure trove. Before you get to excited I promised them the gold in exchange for their assistance on our desert mission. We are currently set to meet them in the morning to set off on our mission. The story is rough around the edges, but that is the gist of it.
