I am recognized by my peers for what little contributions I have made, and hopefully will continue to make.

Nicely said. I like to think of post count as a meter of contribution, not a popularity or speed-typing contest. The fact that we could meet fellow EN Worlders at GenCon who we have admired for their contribution to the site was very cool.

Well I generally try and contribute something of substance when I post but reveal brings out the worst in me.

Honestly I think that my (and everyone else's) post count should be divided into two categories: # of REAL posts/# of replies to reveal.
