OK, ive been reading through some of the WotC CO board recently and saw a thread on there about non-broken best parties (those that don't use the more crazy builds on the board) which stuck to 4 man mainly. I thought I'd bring the idea to the EN World boards for some more ideas and expand to six men (hey i got into the game through the Baldurs Gate series I default to 6) I came up with the following: 1)The Tank: Human Rogue 2/Fighter 4/Pious Templar 10/Dread Commando 4 2)The Rogue: Changeling Rogue 4/Monk 2/Warshaper 4/Cabinate Trickster 5/Mind Spy 5 3)The Cleric: Elven Cleric 20 Archer build, PrCs possible but not those which loose caster levels 4)The Mage: Gnome Illusionist 15/Shadowcraft Mage5 again other PrCs possible 5)The Druid: Human Ninja 1/Druid 9/Dagerspell Shaper 10 6)The Gish: Human Paladin 2/Bard 8/Sublime Chord 2/Seacred Exorcist 8 Why do I like this party? everyone has cover. Characters 3 and 5 have 9th level divine spells, 1,3,5 and 6 can heal, 1 and 5 can disarm traps, 4 and 6 have 9th level arcane spells and have very good versitility in those caster levels, 2 and 6 are excellent in social encounters, 1,2,4 and 5 are pretty good where stealth is required, 3 and 6 are good for missile weapon builds and just to finish off 1,2,3,5 and 6 are reasonable to good in a melee situation. No one character should steal the show but together they're definately greater than their parts, IMO. Anyone got any comments or suggested parties themselves? cheers Fingers
