Message: <blockquote data-quote="Dannyalcatraz" data-source="post: 3700365" data-attributes="member: 19675">I'm aware the PsiWar build was unable to pump Expansion twice at 5th level, but I wasn't assuming this was a one-use NPC- I was open to the possibility that this may be a hit hard and run type encounter, or some other form of recurrent NPC who could be a thorn in the party's side...an enforcer, perhaps.Additionally, there are other tactics available to the PsyWar other than merely charging into battle.  The Psionic Feat Extra Power would let him get access to something like Brain Lock, Ego Whip, Energy Stun, or Mental Disruption- possibly taking a party tank or 2 out of the fight temporarily while going after the more fragile ones...Extra Power: Psionic Grease could put the party on uncertain terrain while he pokes at them with a Huge 2 handed reach weapon...Extra Power: Mind Thrust, powered at 5pp does 5d10 damage, and could take out a party spellcaster in the round right before he bursts from concealment.  Given that its a Will save power, it could also take a goodly chunk out of a party tank before the first blow lands.</blockquote>
