[QUOTE="Great Mastiff Corp., post: 1582964, member: 20040"] Sorry for any confusion that I might have caused .... I realize that my reference to "fixing" was a little vague. However, as ever, I'm happy to be able to give you some info and help resolve the question! :D Your initial impression was correct -- this is indeed a printed book. However, thus far, the company has only had 100 copies printed to fill initial orders and to make certain that the quality was high. The next large consignment is at the printers, scheduled to be delivered in 15 days. However, since their process is computer moderated, one phone call and an e-mailed PDF allows them to correct a given page at this stage in the printing process (up til Wednesday in fact). We're very satisfied with the printers that we've found because they are willing to put in plenty of effort to make the book a good one (and printing it all in the U.S., which is an important point to us ;) ). The author has rewritten this book 3 times, and it has been examined in detail by two professional proofreaders, so we're confident that there are very few errors in the book. The correction of the stat was an exceptional case. However, if anyone finds an error in a printed book which they buy and brings it to our attention, we'll give them an $8 gift certificate towards future purchases. We want to make a quality product, and any corrections can be included in future printings! (Like I said, our printer is very good.) Ben (Malladin), many thanks for the cogent and reasoned comments! :) I agree with your analysis of the +1 bonus for a subrace, and it's interesting to hear that those who have reviewed your book have found it to be balanced in depicting a minor advantage. We've just put a new sample from the book up on our site's Download Page.... the return of the Brem, you might say, ;) with full d20 stats (rather than a cropped stat block). With the stats it's two pages long now, so you'll get double the original sample! This is how the brem actually appears in the printed book.
