93 Games Studio accepting submissions/ideas for D20 Modern Arcana

93 Games Studio wants to expand on their already popular selling D20 Modern Arcana series. Currently there are 4 products available with more in the works.

Arcane Class - Diviner
Arcane Class - Wiccan High Priestess
Magic: The Science and Art of Causing Change (most popular)
Secret Societies: The Ordo Templi Orientis

We are accepting ideas and submissions for future projects. Our main focus is on more "real" life (our motto - AS REAL AS IT GETS) products and ideas. If you are interested please send me an email @ smokewolf@93gamesstudio.com and we can discuss what you are interested in writing and go from there. Also we do have our own custom RPG, The Swing, which does have a rather nice following. So there is a chance for dual system sales with conversions.

Unfortunately at this time, we are only interested in writers. When projects get far enough along we will post again regarding art.

Pay will depend on the type of submission; classes and such will net a fixed fee ($5 per submission), while complete projects will net a fixed fee ($25) and royalties.

It might help, for those of us less familiar with your products, if you defined "real life."
I went to the rpgnow link provided and noticed that you deal with things like Magic, Wicca, etc. So, if I may, can I guess that what you mean by "real life" is a world that mimics the world we know, but where some of the supernatural elements that people may believe in do in fact work. So that things like ghosts, angels, demons, ESP, and the like might all be appropriate depending on the way they were handled?

I guess it really depends on your point of view. For a Wiccan, "real life" needs no extra qualifiers. It's kind of hard to say things like my definition of real life includes X. For many there is no seperation between the real world and a world where such ideas DO exist or work.

But I can define my vision of the projects I would like to see:

Products dealing with modern day magical systems; such as Voodoo, Hermetic Magic, Tarot, Runes, Dream Magic, etc.
Products dealing with modern interpretations of supernaturals; ghosts, vampires, demons, etc.
Products dealing with mundane interaction with the above type of items.

These can be accomplished through either making D20 fit into those views, or making those ideas fit into D20.

I hope that clarifies this some.

Great, I feel that I am ready to expand my efforts and branch out now. Plus so far everyone has had only good things to say about what I am putting out there, which has been really encouraging.

Uh, 'wolf you realize that the system generates the e-mails you get about replies in the post, not me, right? Thus the e-mail has nothing to do with me specifically and more to do with He Who Runs The Board. Hope that doesn't disappoint.
