We've just released A Magical Medieval Society: Medieval European Warfare at YourGamesNow.com.

The 19 page PDF discusses how medieval people regarded and engaged in war and how to integrate magic while maintaining the fabric of medieval life.

While A Magical Medieval Society: Western European Warfare will eventually become the ninth chapter to the award-winning A Magical Medieval Society: Western Europe, we at Expeditious Retreat Press wanted to make the new chapter available to fans while we are working on more new chapters for the second edition.

Right now I've got about a page done in the next chapter (concerning creating new cities from scratch) but I'm going to have to do quite a bit more reading before I feel confident to go forwards with it and the following generation chapter. Realistically I'm not expecting the 2nd edition of MMS:WE to arrive before late 2008, early 2009. I work about as fast as a sloth on these things...

As good as I think your content has been take as long as you need to. Its not like I am feeling a critical need anyways. In fact I expect your new material will influence me to go in directions I have never taken my games in before.

Which is what all your books have done, with Silk Road leading the way in making me come up with all kinds of ideas that are new for me.

That is my favorite kind of product, the best there is to buy, IMO. So just keep up the fine work and I'll continue to be here buying it. Just not piece meal.

As of November of last year, Expeditious Retreat Press is not adding to OBS's catalogue of XRP products. We're allowing them to sell our backstock. All new XRP products are released at www.yourgamesnow.com exclusively for about a month and then released at piazo and e23.
