The Rave theater (which is the only good theater in the city) has a printed policy on their ticket window that even states how many R-rated tickets you can purchase at one time, even if you're older (apparently they didn't like one parent or 18-year-old sibling coming in and buying ten tickets for their younger friends and then letting them disperse into the whatever show they wanted). I have no idea if they enforce that or not, or if it's just there as a sop to parents. When I was much younger, I went to many R-rated movies underage and they said absolutely nothing to me. They did send an usher one time to take one of our friends out of Friday the 13th because he looked 13 when he was 16.</blockquote>
