Re: Re: A Cavern Hag ate my character I did something like this once. Can't really remember the particulars of the quest but it involved Limbo and Mechanus(sp?) colliding and doing nasty things to the multiverse. We were traveling through "Limbo" and we had a device that detected massive amounts of magically energy (one of which was supposed to be the source of the problem). So using this device we find a source which was a fountain in the middle of a town. Finding no means of activating/accessing this energy my dwarven fighter (or cleric) decides to hit the fountain with my weapon of choice. It breaks and this great beam of light shoots off into the sky. I took a mirror that my character had and a reflected the beam towards the horizon causing something (no idea what) explode. At this point the villagers were attacking us for breaking thier fountain. So I get the bright idea to use it as a weapon and blew up a few buildings as my companions killed/drove off the villagers off. Then I wondered what would happen if I reflected the beam straight down. As my party plane shifts away with a sword of the planes I finally got the angle right and BOOM myself and the planes of Limbo and Mechanus were destroyed. Ended that game quickly. So we played arenas for a day and a half.
