[QUOTE="Zaran, post: 5213919, member: 56710"] I pulled a fast one on one of my players. I gave her a +2 Dagger of Transference. Which basically should (once a day) transfer a save ends condition to a target hit by the weapon. That's not what this particular version did though. This particular version transfers the user's mind and soul into the target and the target's into the users body. So in this way it's sort of a cursed weapon. When she used it the first time, she used on to transfer ongoing damage from a dragon's acid breath to the dragon. So she wound up in the dragon's body. Freaked her out. I also said that the black dragon was Stunned by this effect. I did let the dragon make saves for the two effects the halfing's body still had on it using the save bonus the dragon had so it did actually remove one of the conditions on her. I also gave the dragon a save to return to her body which it made. So it basically robbed it of a turn because of the stun effect. If she ever uses the power again (doubtful but who knows), I'll allow her to take actions in the new body. I'll allow her to use some powers depending on the monster she jumped into (like I'd let her use the dragon's breath weapon but not any magic spells it might know). The monster will probably always be stunned the first turn but if doesn't save against the transference, i'll let it control her body as well. But I thought a weapon like this could have some interesting effects. Now I wouldn't have given this dagger to just anyone. It's definately more powerful than the way the rules are supposed to work but if something happened to her regular body she would be trapped in the new one and that's not something the player would like.
