A Feast for Crows June 24?

I do wish he would update the aFfC info on his site more. The last update is dated Jan. 4, 2004. I little update saying "I'm working on it" or "I'm 60% done now" or something would not take that long to do, IMO.

I started reading aSoIaF before a Clash of Kings was out. That sucked.

I also wonder what it was like for those who started reading Stephen King's Dark Tower books back when only the Gunslinger was out. Like 10 years between books at points. :p

No kidding! I am in that demographic. I got especially worried when King looked like he would retire from writing forever! Luckily he is going to finish this series (assuming he doesn't change his mind or die)

Make room in the Dark Tower boat, I'm in there too.

But I think we are safe on seeing the end of this one, even if something happens to the King. I believe he has already finished it, they are just spacing out the last few releases.

When you look up Martin by name it has April 2004 for the release of the book. Sales rank is 33. Refund rank next week 1.
BnN doesn't list it at all.

Another large chain store shows August.

Hey, the Hedge Knight comic is coming out as a collection this month!

On the other hand, Amazon has Dragon Age, Bioware's newly announced game, for pre-order, when it's not coming out for at least a couple of years, according to Bioware.

Amazon and other companies make up release dates on purpose so they can get pre-orders, because it means more money sooner.
