I'm excited that after waiting for some time, it appears that Eden Studio's Fields of Blood: Book of War will be out soon. I have a few questions about the book:
1. How does the mass combat system function? Can it be played with miniatures and counters, or is it more abstract?
2. Is it "backwards compatible"? Will I be able to use it without much trouble or conversion using the old 3.0e rules, or will I have to upgrade to 3.5e to use it? This is an important question because my gaming group (and several other gaming groups that I know) refuse to switch to 3.5e.
3. Will governing kingdoms and raising armies be addressed? Will it be like Birthright?
4. Finally, do you have an approximate release date?
