Better yet, it should be assumed that the characters know, and needs no justifying statements.</p><p></p><p><em>As an aside: Monster knowledge does matter in my games, and if PCs start charging a troll with fire w/o making a monster identification check, they may just end up running into Trolls that are healed by fire.</em></p></blockquote><p></p>
