Thanks to one 18 I rolled for this character, he had a 20 DEX. I then took Inertial Armor for my feat, and by 2nd level had a 19 AC, and 6 power points.My powers were burst, bolt, detect psionics (and magic, btw), as well as lesser metphysical weapon and skate. That, with my longbow, allowed me to in one round turn on my powers and skate like a "mo' fo' " as the term goes, get out of immediate physical danger, and break out my bow to fire away. I had the ability to beef up my compatriots' weapons, and in my case both my bow and arrows for enhanced hitting power. unlike Lesser magic weapon, Lesser Metaphysical Wpn. works for 1 hour per level of the caster. Between my mass mobility and the ability to give it to others, and my ability to both hit well with my bow, and to give the other party members magic weapons on a moment's notice, i came in VERY useful in a support role, much like a bard. Since then, I switched over to the ITCK version, because my DM agreed I was still a little bit behind the party curb. Now, I not only get a little more than a support role, I can hold my own if off alone for a short time. Mind blast cannot be underestimated.
