[QUOTE="The Forsaken One, post: 773993, member: 799"] The engine of the jeep roars to life as nathan turns the keys. He then looks over his shoulder with a last glance at the dead colonel or who ever he was. Shrugging it off he floors the gas pedal as he races off through the dust and gets back on the road. As he passes the helicopter he sees Rabid raise a thumb to him as a signal of good luck and then he hustles in the direction of the chopper. With the sound of metal against metal Rapid lands his butt in the chopper with a clang as the metal of his rifle hits the not so bullet proof floor of the chopper. Hardly in the chopper the rotorblades start to quicken and Abe has hardly put the earcaps and intercom system on Rabid's head or the pilot pulls the chopper of the dusty dessert floor in force. Abe picks Rabid up and pulls him onto the passenger bench knowing that the equipment they are carrying isn't light or ment for long distance travel but for insert and pickup. As the chopper seers low across the desert floor Abe looks outside and sees the jeep with Nathan in it slowly pull aside as the chopper slows down a bit. Nathan throws a salute at the chopper and focusses back on the road. Then the chopper suddenly hangs over heavily to the front as it accelerates and Abe is glad he hooked himself up in the safety belts. He looks outside one more time and sees the jeep race across the dust paved road, blood red dustclouds sweeping up behind it, painted by the falling sun. And so they glide over the red desert. Bathing in the last bits of sunlight of this day, maybe your final day, the desert looks empty and full of anger. But this isn't anything you haven't seen before. It just has been a while. But then the chopper turns from the road and the voice of the pilot sounds in your ears again, preceeded by the notifying static crackle. [COLOR=orangered]We're getting off the road guys. We're approaching from the other side of the compound which should be quite unguarded and not looked at if your colleague does what he's hired to do.
