I never having played in dark sun (cus im a 3.5 baby) had now clue as to what dark sun was.My Dm pointed me to the paizo material and said go find it online. so i googled dark sun read a bunch of stuff and got the main picture of dark sun."This place sucks...it sucks hard...like in prison w/o soap on the rope bad." But, unfortunately i had read most of the Athas.org material, that said monk, soulknife, and sorc dont exist as core classes. Reading that sence the monk needed literally nothing to be awesome in this setting made them a little op. so i set to work to make a "monk".Human, 2PsiWar, 3Gladiator, 5 Blind Fighter, 10 Sensei.  and just be a blind old man with a stupppppppppid high AC(+5Int(bf levels),+Wis,+Psion powers,+...) you get the idea. I only used the materials listed. My Dm said having a Ac in the 50-60 range was absurd and Cheese and he hated it.hoping to make his life easier i stood in the fire last week to "save" the party.The Plan...Im Known to my gameing group as a Max/min optimizing cheese munchkin player who seeks to brake the game and just be AWESOME!all of this is true i dont deny the fact when i make a PC i want him to be the best, and why not? i am a "Hero" after all. but i think i will try something "different" this timeI told my DM that i was gona take the "arcane challenge" and be a caster in athas.originally i planed to make a Psion/wizard/Cerebremancer/red wizard who was gona save the world and bring back all the races that where wiped off the face of athas blaw blaw blaw i got told NO you cant be a red wizardso i said duck athas and saving it im gonna burn it to the ground.Lame Duck! This PC will be utterly useless, or so it may seem.I still want to play a Wizard/Psion/Cerebremancer because iv never played with psionics and would enjoy doing so.Im thinking of being a Transmuter<ol> <li data-xf-list-type="ol">    cus Polymorph any object is the most powerful and versatile spell ever</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ol">    cus im thinking of "abusing" Alter Self</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ol">    and i can bend and shape things to my likeing</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ol">    cus every one in athis is poor minor/major creation is amazing</li> </ol>As far as the Psion thing gos iv been doing a little research on my own<ol> <li data-xf-list-type="ol">Egoist: cus fusion fission & metamorphasis seem real nice</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ol">    Seer: to assist in being non detected and helping to maintain the illusion that im a lame duck</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ol">    Shaper: more make stuff including a dimiplane eventually ooooo ahhh</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ol">    Telepath: These are not the droids your looking for</li> </ol>but like i said i dont know much about psionics.so i want to appear to be useless aka not do anything helpful or productive in fights and social interactions. just standing there waving my arms around or running in circles screaming. but when it comes to put up or shut up i wanna be the bees knees if ya know what im saying lol.This also means not letting any one know im a wizard especially the partyim gonna tell them im a human expert and not to expect me to be that impressive.ya...but i might be rambling now idk<ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">     any way  transmutation+illusion means good disguises</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">     spells like nondetection and powers like conceal thoughts help keep me a mystery</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">     abuse powers like schism to get more actions to be a pew pew when i need to</li> </ul>   Questions i have specificallyWould the Humans racial ability called "Inborn Powers" let me early qualify for Cerebremancer? you get to pick a 2nd lv Power at level 5 and add it to your class list if you have levels in a psionic class.aka 1psion/4wizard/ level 6 i take Cerebremancer, or the 2psi/3wiz what everHuman or Elan cus Elan are abberations.
