Alastrina of BreconAs a loyal friend and servant of the king, Alastrina would deny him nothing. She is reserved and mature. She is a regular fixture in the court of the king. She is not as flashy or ostentatious as some of the younger ladies at court, but it is obvious that the king does value her opinion. Brecon Castle is no more than a day’s ride from Cedric’s court.III. CiaraWild and fiery, this enchantress guards her tower and the land surrounding it with careful ferocity. Ciara is a strong leader, who posses a clear vision of what she wants and will go to great lengths to attain that which she desires. She and Cedric first crossed paths when he attempted to annex her land. She graciously hosted him in her home until an agreement could be reached. Her land has never become part of Cedric’ cantrev.IV. Dervilla the PotterA humble potter in a distant town at far reaches of Cedric’s kingdom, Dervilla discovered an unconscious Cedric in a field north of her town. She cared for him in her meager hut. Her soft-spoken ways and quiet humility were unlike any woman Cedric had ever known, but when he was well enough to travel, he returned home.V. Edanna of CardiffOn Beltane in 1196, Cedric hosted a great festival for his entire court and several nobles from neighboring cantrevs. At the time Edanna was being courted by a knight well o<img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />n his way to great honor and glory, but she left the fete with Cedric. She is passionate and zealous about life, and lives it to the fullest. She laughs the loudest, cries the hardest and wants the finest of everything. Cardiff castle is a testimony to Edanna’s particular tastes, its beauty rivaling the even Cedric’s royal apartments.VI. KethliaAn uneasy truce has always existed between the kingdom of Cedric and the nearby elves. When Kethlia came to the court of Cedric’s father to renegotiate the terms of the truce she was captivated by his vigor and passion. Kethlia is proud and confident. She is purposeful in both thought and word and not given to unnecessary chatter. VIII. LassehaeLassehae watched as Cedric slew her most despised enemy. She was angry that this man had stolen her kill, but she was surprised to find herself so entranced by his blood-spattered form. Charismatic and seductive, Lassehae knew she would have this man.IX. Lyonessa of CaerleonLyonessa is a part of the new nobility. Her father was a rich merchant, and she has gained position in court, not through right of blood but by gold. Caerleon castle, surrounded by open fertile plains, has never been attacked. She herself is very naïve, sweet and impetuous. She is the youngest of the “Mothers.” A strong, almost tangible sense of dislike exists between ‘Nessa and Ula, but no o<img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />ne speaks of why. While the birth of her son was considered scandalous at the time, Lyonessa has never been ashamed of her child. At the festival she proudly put her son forward as an heir to the Cedric.X. MahelidessMahelidess, like many of her kind has an uncanny fascination with the mortals who occasionally wander through the wood of Taverré. Upon discovering Cedric lost in her wood, Mahelidess decided that she would not, as she had been doing, lull him into a sleep and relieve him of his trinkets. Instead she charmed him and kept him. Mahelidess is easily amused, and takes great delight in the things she enjoys. But her delight can turn quickly to fierce wrath, as she is a bit emotionally trivial.XI. Ula of RhuddlanUla is a stalwart matron figure in Cedric’s court. Her husband, thirty years her elder, died this past winter. If he had not, he might have died of shock when it was discovered that while his son was Ula’s child, he was Cedric’s as well. The Rhuddlan family holds a strategic point in the coastal defense of the Cantrev. A testament to their brilliant tacticians and devotion to Scathach, Castle Rhuddlan has never fallen.XII. ???One man arrived without escort that caused almost as much of an uproar as Lassehae’s entrance. The man wore many battle scars, and his arms seemed to be crafted out of oversized armored plates. Many cowed from his approach while others hurled insults at him, deeming him more abomination than man. o<img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />nly the word of Cedric and the affirmation of the druids have allowed him to remain in the city.</blockquote>
