That ranger question is a prime example of why. If the ranger player wants to be mounted, I'm not going to punish him by making his class features unavailable. I want to find a way to stretch his features to encompass his mount. As I said earlier, I can easily picture the ranger picking a path and guiding his mount like it was an extension of himself.The rogue's cunning action is the same. The tabaxi's increased speed probably wouldn't apply to the mount since it seems to be very much about the catman physical ability, and I can't think of even the barest excuse to transfer it to the mount (although, all I know about the feature is what's written in this thread) .Again, I feel if I'm making class features unavailable while mounted, then I feel like I'm punishing my players when they try playing mounted. So I don't care what the rules explicitly say, I care about their spirit</blockquote>
