Hello

Truly, this thread delivers! http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthread.php?629459-AI-Creates-New-D-amp-D-Monsters

So. The creator's current project concerns character names. Cool stuff. But she didn't just ask for character names.... she also asked for race and class! So we can do some stats!

At this moment, there are 17792 entries (almost 20 000!). You can do a search for a word and see how often it appears. For example, the word "dwarf" appears 1245 (or almost exactly 7% of the time), while human appears to be 28% of entries.

Of course, this is not perfect - some people can't spell dwarf (... I'm pretty sure dwart is not a race...). And there may be entries like "Torg elf-slayer (who happens to be an orc) that would count as 1 entry for elf. And this probably counts a lot of editions, not just 5e - or even not just D&D. But still, there is data to mine here!

A few other finds:
Barbarians 6.7%
Bard 9.6%
Cleric 9.4%
Druid 5.6%
Fighter 9.6%
Monk 4.7%
Paladin: 6.8%
Rogue+thief 11.3%
ranger: 6.7%
Sorcerer: 4.9%
Warlocks 5.1%
Wizard: 9.1%

Didn't expect the bard to be so high!

have fun :)
