As the paladin watches the minotaur hammering at the forge, his eyes fix on the huge forge hammer, and he suffers another flashback... His surroundings turn black all the sudden, but what surprises the most is that he finds himself in the same place he is now. Asterion is there! But somewhat younger. His horns are but buds protruding from his head. He seems much more impulsive. The young minotaur is having a hard time trying to raise the hammer of the forge above his head. Cliff sees as his own hands reach out to help him, but those are not his hands, these are big sturdy hands, strong and tempered. "Firms and steady Asterion" he said in a voice so strong it could have made mountains tremble. The minotaur following his instructions, tries and succeeds in hammering at the forge. A strong feeling of joy feels Cliff heart, similar of what he felt back in his tribe, when he saw the young pups practicing fighting moves. Suddenly the vision blurs, and Cliff finds himself staring at the old minotaur, who raises an eyebrow apparently surprised by something. Asterion makes up some quick numbers, and counts 15 men with Salmar and Kumar. There of course are some stronger pirates, used to boarding and fighting, and others that are mainly maintenance sailors. As Asterion was making mental calculations, Cliff shakes. The forger thought he was sea sick, but suddenly, the shifter's hands reach for something invisible, and he says "Firms and steady Asterion". Asterion would have not been surprised, if those would have not been the words of Boulder, a long time ago, as he taught him how to work on the forge.
