Now everyone knows that the land-form north of the swamp is hills.This is the best I can do to make sense of what you're saying, and all I can conclude is that you regard it as normal for players to exercise agency in respect of whether or not orcs their PCs are fighting are dead, but don't regard it as normal for players to exercise agency in respect of the details of their PCs memories about the lands which they have lived in and heard stories of.That's your prerogative. But I would prefer that you describe it in a way that does not misdescribe what other RPGers are doing.</blockquote>
