It also felt constrictive to making creative choices as a GM. I think it is fine to have them function the same. But it really ought to depend on the kind of game you are working with. There is definitely something to be said for the ease of prep and the creative freedom provided by having NPCs and monsters function in a different way from the PCs (even if that difference is simply that NPCs and monsters don't require as much meticulous building or adherence to the rules that govern PC creation).</p></blockquote><p></p>
