Firstly, my group and I are about to begin a new campaign set in a home brew world with a decidely dark feel. (Not evil, just dark). A player has expressed an interest in playing a V from V for Vendetta like prestige class, and so I a coming here to ask for your help in getting a working class.

What I am looking for is if anyone here has done something for a Prestige class, would a prestige class cover the ideas behind the V character. Are there any other characters in fiction, comics, or movies that have a similar drive (and thus would be good research).

My Ideas are brief on the V PRC

A Code of Conduct similar to a Paladiin or more specifically the champions and that is all that I have.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Oh and should I make him detail the nature of history before I allow such a character concept.

Have you seen the Vigilante PrC from Complete Adventurer? It should help.

Yes, and it does a little I was hoping for something that captured the feel of V a little bit more

What about the Vigilant PrC class from Relics & Rituals or the Bounty Hunter PrC from the Kalamar Player's Guide?
