Message: <blockquote data-quote="Edena_of_Neith" data-source="post: 977520" data-attributes="member: 2020">Forsaken One ... worry.  Worry alot.  <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f600.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D"  data-smilie="8"data-shortname=":D" />  Liquid Snake, I'll look that up.  Heh, but I was trying to figure out how to create eternal youth using WOTC's core rules.    After all, if the core rules allow for eternal youth, then I would think we'd be seeing a lot of that in magically rich worlds like Toril.    You see, it's a matter of:  if it can be done, somebody will do it.    Man is famous for this IRL.  Space shots to the moon.  Telescopes that can see other planets.  Plasma bottles at one hundred million degrees.  Supersonic aircraft.  High explosives.  The internet.  The Northwest Passage.  The Price Is Right (it's been going on 40 years!)  And so, there is little question that the ruthless and willful people of the Forgotten Realms will do whatever is possible, within the rules that define their world.  Or the people of Oerth.  Or Aebrinis.  Or Krynn.  Or Athas.  Or any other world where humanity schemes and plots  (the dieties won't stop it, since the dieties are an active part of the scheming.)  Thus, if Kerrick can create an Eternal Youth spell using the core rules, I am betting that it has been created on Toril.  I am betting it has been created, and that it has been used, and that it is going to continue to be used.    Of course, the spread of immortality across Toril is going to have consequences.</blockquote>
