I get paid again next month. :) Well, I got back. I bought a few things. All in Australian dollars: $20... train fare down and back $110... a lot of Lois McMaster Bujold books. (Falling Free; Cordelia's Honor; Young Miles; Miles, Mystery and Mayhem; and Miles Errant) $95 - Shackled City adventure path $39 - Fiendish Codex 2 $2 - The Lost City of Gaxmoor $8 - Settlers of Catan Event Cards $30 - Settlers of Catan: Cities & Knights 5-6 player expansion $89 - Die Macher $30 - Curse of the Dark Pharoah (Arkham horror expansion) $60 - Dunwich Horror (AH expansion) $60 - The Princes of Florence $75 - Runebound 2nd edition $7 - lunch total: somewhere about aus$625 for the day. I can't do that often, but it was fun. They'd sold out of Ra (pity; but it, like Power Grid, can wait). Not sure about where they keep Frostfell Rift, but it was only a minor wish, anyway. I considered Marvel Super Heroes, but the box was a bit big once you considered everything else I was carrying. ;) Tide of Iron: Hmm. I'm not sure. I'll consider it. A friend has Memoir '44, which I really, really like, and three of us have BattleLore. OTOH: Lots of Bits. My chief problem would be when would I play it - I'm far more likely for a game of its length want to play War of the Ring. Gaxmoor: It was $2! I've actually know a few students at the school I work at are playing the thing, and I was curious. :) Shackled City: Nice book. Very nice. Heavy. Just right to beat around the head of annoying players. I'll start running this in a couple of weeks. Nice to know that my plans have gone according to for once. :) Cheers!
