If not, he'll need to make 8 saves during the day (vs. heat) and 6 saves during the night (vs. cold) The beginning of the 59th day of your journey is hot and dry.  You know that the days will only become hotter and drier from here on.  The Oasis is practically in the desert.  As you ride on your camels along the rough trail through the desert, the piles of sand around you grow larger.  You take a long break around 10 and wait until 4 for the hottest part of the day to pass.  By the end of the day, all you can see from horizon to horizon is an endless expanse of nothing but sand.  Even the mountains to the south have faded into the distance.While the others have magical protection against the heat, Cludge is taking a beating under the hot Sairundan sun.  Within the first few hours, he's exhausted (<a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=1283792" target="_blank">4</a> saves failed).
