A Song of Fire and Ice pantheon?

I think we all feel that way. Course I still want to see the Mountain and the Dog do battle, especially now that the Mountain is weakened.

I suspect that he is not in that condition. I would bet that he is now in a place beyond that condition. The boy seems remarkably wight-like to me.

ConnorSB - I think you have a full blown fixation :)

My speculations on the identity of the reborn Azor Ahai:

I think its Daenerys. Melisandre said that the prophecy says the hero will be reborn amidst smoke and salt, and she interprets this as pointing to Dragonstone, but I think that the smoke and salt refers to the Daenerys's tears and Drogo's pyre, which Daenerys entered as wife of the dead Khal and exited as the Mother of Dragons. And even if Melisandre is right about the smoke and salt referring to Dragonstone, that is where Daenerys was born. Also, Melisandre kept trying to get Stannis to allow the use of his bastard nephew's blood to wake dragons from stone, whereas Daenerys already has woken dragons from stone

I completely agree with you. Like 100 percent. That is my theory of who it is too! The only thing missing is the sword.

I am wondering what is going to happen with Jon. I dont see him betraying the black anytime soon, but I feel that there are certain things that he has to do, and he cant do them as a brother. So I think that the wall will fall at some point. Probably not in the next two books. But i think we will see it. I also am wondering what Rickon will re-enter the books like. He is currently away with a wildling woman that is not what one would call good. He is a bit on the reckless and crazy side, only being 4 and probably thinks his whole family has deserted him, cause they did. I see Tyrion, Dany and Jon riding the dragons by the end. I think they are the main hero's of the books. I also see Sansa and Tyrion ending up together, just because it would be kind of cool.
umm.. great books.
