I recently ran a short A|State adventure in The City. I loved the feel of the setting- the characters are points of light in a city so GRIMDARK it would make a Chaos Marine despondant- and found the simple, easy mechanics a breath of fresh air from 4th ed.
The only problems I found were the combat system (one fight will effectively bring the story to a halt as the party starts running around for qualified medical help- is it just me or does the otherwise rules-light system take a malicious glee in the detailed and punishing wounding rules?) Also, the skills can occasionally lead to off results, such as having a higher base attribute than the skill it is meant to reflect.
Otherwise, I enjoyed it. Anyone else played the game? What sort of experiences did you have?
