Are there any (semi-)official rules for how to derive stats for a swarm from the stats of the base creature?
Is there an official "mob" anywhere?Simplicity said:I'm pretty sure the answer to that is no.
Typically, the things you're swarming don't have stats (what's the stats of a mosquito or a normal wasp?).
By the time you get up to things that have stands, you start having "mobs"... I remember less about the rules for mobs, however. There may be something there.

And, swarms can be made up of creatures of up to tiny in size, so there are a lot of swarmable creatures that have stats.

I played once in a campaign code named "Dusin's Wild Daemonic Beach-Party" where we combated a few swarms of feindish squirls. nuff said. I don't know where he pulled the templet from.Aust Diamondew said:A rabbit swarm would be fun.
