A third set of FX powers...

Well, the d20 Modern game I run is going to be going in some interesting directions. Its started as a no-magic world, but slowly, things will be discovered. First, Psionics will start to pop up, slowly after that, Magic..and then, last, the Force.
My problem is, implementing the Force into d20 Modern. Its not as much Feats and Powers as it is creating an Advanced Class for it. I was thinking of doing two, one for a more fighter type(Jedi Guardian) and a scholar type(Jedi Consular), without the teachings of the Jedi thrown in. I've run into problems though...Simply, I've drawn a big blank. I have the basics, and a lot of time until its introduced, but I'm really not sure how to go about this...suggestions?

As a suggestion - I think I'd create an advanced class called "force sensitive" which lets people learn the force feats and force skills (making the basic alter, control and sensitive class abilities rather than feats).

There would then be two prestige classes which refine the control of the force along the lines of "light side" and "dark side"

"Jedi" I would make as a prestige class, with entry requirements which include accepting and being taught by a Jedi master, and their class abilities would include the typical Jedi combat schticks.

"Sith" would be the other prestige class, with entry requirements including evilness and being taught by a Sith lord, and their class abilities would include the typical dark lord "attack with the force" stuff.

This would enable anyone (theoretically) to get into the force in one way or another with the "Force Sensitive" class, while keeping some game restrictions and additional flavour for people *trained* in a light side or dark side tradition.

Cheers
