A time to say Good-Bye - d20 Magazine Rack Closes Down

It is said that all good things come to an end. Since shortly after third edition D&D was released, d20 Magazine Rack has been a resource for gamers to come to. Now, the time has come to close the doors and shut down the website.

The primary reason for this is largely due to ongoing health issues and my inability to devote the needed time and resources as a result. I appreciate everything that our staff reviewers have done through the years toiling through product after product and posting reviews. I want to say a sincere thank you to the publishers who have donated product for review through the years. I also appreciate the volunteer efforts that have gone forth in the production of the various electronic magazines we have hosted through the years.

It was a fun ride but now it is time to stop. Effective May 1st, 2008, the d20 Magazine Rack will go dormant and be shut down. I own the d20zines.com domain name until the beginning of August, at which time I am certain a domain squatter will grab it unless it is transferred to someone else before then. If anyone would like to take over operations and ownership of the site, you may contact me at creech@dragonwing.net to discuss the details.

I have had a blast being a part of this website and community and I will still continue to be involved through my publishing company, DragonWing Games. However, it is time to drawn close a chapter in my life and that of the gaming community.

God Bless and may your dice roll true.

Sad day indeed..

As a person who won more then a few of the contests you guys used to hold back in the beginning I have to say it will be missed. Good luck with everything else..

Steve, I'm sorry to see it, but health always comes first. I agree that sometimes it's best to know when a thing should end, rather than try to keep it running past a good stopping point.

Keep us updated on your health, too, man. We're pulling for you at Grandma's Houses and Roman Forums all over the world. :)

Thanks guys. I never wanted to shut the site down, but the ongoing chemotherapy and some other factors made me realize that I just couldn't do it anymore.

Best of luck to you Steve, and thanks for the time you've spent doing D20 zines.

There's a few things, like Connors' GM Tools, I need to be backing up...
