[QUOTE="Mad_Jack, post: 8940812, member: 6750306"] I love spending money on stuff that may or may not actually have any in-game effect - one of my characters in a previous edition was specced-out for twf with handaxes, so I had a special leather harness made up like an Old West gunfighter's quickdraw rig, except that instead of two gun holsters on the thighs, each side held three handaxes in the perfect position to be drawn as a natural extension of the throwing motion. :p Two of my 5E characters are what you might call "well-dressed" - they each have several sets of clothes listed in their equipment, lol. One of them is a drow fighter who uses her background as a merchant for the House her family belongs to as an excuse to adventure on the surface world - she has a horse and cart as part of her background equipment, and at least two of the chests in the cart are full of her own personal belongings. I play it as part of her character that she insists all of her gear is of the finest quality as befitting a person of her family's stature, and she wouldn't even go into a dungeon without being fashionably dressed.
